From the Boston Wine Expo to Your Table
There’s always something new to learn in the world of wine, and this past Sunday, our team had the chance to do just that at the Boston Wine Expo. Surrounded by winemakers, importers, and bottles from across the globe, we spent the afternoon tasting, asking questions, and diving deeper into what makes each wine unique.
From bright, mineral-driven whites to bold, structured reds, the experience was a reminder of how much craftsmanship goes into every bottle. We talked with producers about their vineyards, the nuances of different growing regions, and the small choices in the winemaking process that can completely change a wine’s character. It’s the kind of knowledge that makes every sip a little more interesting, and it’s something we love bringing into the dining room.
Of course, learning about wine is always more fun when it comes with great food. As we tasted our way through the day, we kept thinking about how certain wines would shine alongside the dishes you know and love here in Beacon Hill.
That inspiration is exactly what fuels our Wine Wednesdays.
Every Wednesday evening, we invite you to slow down midweek and enjoy one of our favorite traditions: a thoughtfully paired dinner featuring a two-course menu and a bottle of wine to share for $39 per person. Each week we highlight a different wine and create specials designed to complement it, giving you a chance to explore new flavors the same way we do.
Our visit to the expo left us with plenty of ideas, new varietals to pour, new pairings to try, and a renewed appreciation for the stories behind every glass. We’re excited to bring what we learned back to the restaurant and share it with you.
So if you’re looking for a cozy midweek dinner in Beacon Hill, join us this Wednesday. The wine is open, the pairings are ready, and we’ve got a few new favorites we can’t wait for you to try. 🍷
