Brunch, Blooms & Beacon Hill in Spring
Spring has officially arrived on Beacon Hill, and with it comes one of the neighborhood’s most charming traditions: lingering a little longer over brunch, strolling flower-lined streets, and gathering outdoors as the city comes back to life. At 75 Chestnut, patio season is officially underway - and there’s no better place to take in the season than from the heart of Beacon Hill.
Tucked among brick sidewalks, historic brownstones, and budding window boxes, springtime in Beacon Hill feels like stepping into a postcard. The neighborhood hums with energy this time of year as locals and visitors alike trade winter layers for sunny afternoons and leisurely meals outdoors. Whether you’re stopping in after a Charles Street stroll or making a day of exploring the city, our patio is once again open and ready for the season.
This spring also marks something new for brunch lovers: in addition to our Saturday and Sunday brunch service, 75 Chestnut is now serving brunch on Fridays beginning at 11:30am. Because honestly, some weekends deserve a head start.
From long lunches over cocktails to late-morning coffee and classic brunch favorites, Fridays on Beacon Hill have officially become part of the ritual. It’s the perfect excuse to ease into the weekend a little earlier - whether you’re meeting friends, taking a midday break from work, or simply looking for an extra reason to enjoy the neighborhood in bloom.
And for one especially picturesque Thursday, we’re adding another brunch date to the calendar.
On May 21st, 75 Chestnut will open for brunch in celebration of the annual Hidden Gardens of Beacon Hill — one of Beacon Hill’s most beloved spring traditions. Each year, the event invites guests to wander through the neighborhood’s tucked-away courtyards, secret gardens, and beautifully landscaped terraces rarely seen by the public. It’s a celebration of Beacon Hill at its absolute best: historic, charming, and overflowing with spring color.
Before or after the tour, join us for brunch just steps away from the gardens themselves. Settle into the patio with a mimosa, linger over brunch favorites, and soak in one of the most beautiful weeks of the year in Boston.
Spring on Beacon Hill only comes around once a year - and there’s no better time to pull up a chair outside.
